Marriage

Marriage is a converting institution. If it is a love marriage,it converts lovers to husband and wife and if arranged, it converts husband wife to lovers.

From statistics, it is seen that husband and wife do not remain lovers for long. Considering all other parameters being normal, the reason is, the closeness without coordination. More you remain with a person , more it becomes difficult to make him of your type, your thinking and to adopt him/her your way of life.

Remember, husband and wife are two individuals and God has made each and every individual in unique way with unique attributes and personality. Both can't be one as their liking and disliking differ. Love doesn't last long after marriage because of conflict.

Try to overcome the conflict and enjoy married life.

Marriage is a beginning to compound the social life. Question comes - why do we marry ? Simple answer --- to make children and to sustain a characterful healthy society. Because when we die, our children will be part of the society. And from society, we can be benefited for any of our social and psychological needs

If above point is seriously thought of, the marriage becomes a  consecrational rite.

Causes of conflicts:

1. If the needs and wants are not met.
2. Difference in opinion and perception.
3. Assumptions and Doubts.
4. Expectations and lack of self submission
5. Too much stubborn behaviour
6. Not to ignore the things of small values and importance.
7. Mistrust or Cheating.

These causes of conflicts start to change the behaviour gradually and may lead to tear apart the relations between husband and wife.

Indications of weakening ties:

1.  Inadequate communication : There should always be a continual communication between husband and wife, even if it is negative, unnecessary and unwanted. If there is no communication, the ties weaken further. It indicates that both of them now have no interest in each other.
2. If both are unable to solve any serious issue and no solution is acceptable to both of them.
3. When there is argument almost every day even on petty issues.
4. When couple feel uncomfortable in spouse presence and start demeaning the opposite one and relatives of other half.
5. Before marriages, the Boy dreams of a reel heroine type of wife and the Girl dreams of a reel hero type husband. But reel life is not the real life. Gradually these dreams get shattered and the attraction diminishes from both the sides. Couples should understand the Real life and respect each other. They should not expect every thing from their counterpart If they don't, ties weaken rapidly.
6. The method of parenting if differs in couples, it also leads to weaken ties.
7. Attraction to opposite sex and being unfaithful is the main reason of weakening ties and perhaps most devastating in couples life.    

Solution to keep the love full and steady:

1. Keep a high moral value and don't cheat your life partner.
2. Take care of needs and wants of your partner and in case of any conflict arising, try to solve it mutually.
3. Respect the values and sentiments  of each other.
4. Be like a friend and keep yourself open after marriage. Don't disclose the premarried life events, if it is going to hurt or create unsafe sense in your better half.
5. Spend as much time as you can with your children and family. This bond is very necessary for happy family.
6. Share each other's load in household task.
7. Keep your personal lens or perception positive towards your spouse. In case of any doubt, 
8. Visit places of interest at least once a year to take rest from your routine job.
9. respect each other's sentiments.
10. No couple in the world is ideal. Everybody is liable to commit mistake and one has to learn from it. Encourage each other for positive actions and make corrections on mistakes
